GPS Maps - Map Categories

Select a Category from the dropdown to filter the places you would like to display on your map. 

For a Category to appear on this list there must be a Place or Stage with that Category assigned to it and the Place must have "Include this place on a map" selected and a location added (Event Data --> Places --> Edit a Place).

If your event has multiple maps (for example, a camping map vs. an event map) you can use this functionality to only display places categorized as camping on the camping map. 

Category Settings allows you to change the map icon and colors for each category. For example, set a car icon on parking spots.
