Transferring apps
Android
Ask your previous developer for the following information and provide it to us:
- Keystore File
- Keystore Password
- Alias
- Alias Password
Provide this information to your previous developer and ask them to transfer the app to your account:
- Developer Name: (Name you gave your Google Play Account)
- Account Email: (Email you used to create your account)
- Transaction ID: (You can find this by going to the instructions on Step 3 of this page (https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/6230247?hl=en)
iOS
Provide this information to your previous developer and ask them to transfer the app to your account:
- Team ID: Follow these steps to get your Team ID.
- Go to http://developer.apple.com
- Go to Account in the top right corner.
- Got to Membership on the left side of the page.
- Your Team ID will be a 10 digit number listed on this page.
Once your previous developer initiates the transfer, you will need to accept the transfer. Follow these steps to do so:
- Log in to http://itunesconnect.apple.com
- Go to the Agreements, Tax, and Banking section.
- Review the transfer request of your app and fill out the form with your company's information. As soon as you are done the app will appear on your account.
