How can I check to see if my app has been approved?

Once we submit your app to the app stores, the app will undergo a review process by both Apple and Google Play. During this process, you might receive emails from the app stores indicating that the app has been approved and is ready to release or a reason why the app was rejected. The account holder of your app accounts receives these emails as well as Aloompa (when we are added as Admin or Developer roles). You do not need to take any action on these emails. If your app was approved, we will contact you to let you know and ask when you would like to release it to the stores. If your app was rejected, we will review the rejection and ask you questions if needed, and then we will submit the app for approval again.

If you would like to check the approval status of your app, follow these steps:

Apple:

Login to your App Store Connect account and navigate to view My Apps then select the app you want to check on.

Below the name of the app, you will see the review status. For a full explanation of all statuses review the Apple Developer site here
The primary statuses you will see are:
  • Ready for Review (You’ve entered all of the required metadata for your app and indicated that you intend to submit it for review, but haven’t submitted it yet.)
  • Waiting for Review (You’ve submitted a new app or updated version. Apple received your submission, but hasn’t started review)
  • In review (Apple Review is reviewing your app)
  • Pending Developer Release (Your app was approved, but you still need to release it for sale)
  • Rejected (App Review didn’t accept your app. App Store Connect users with the Admin, App Manager, or Developer role are notified about the issues)
  • Ready for Sale (Your app is available on the App Store)

If we need to ship a new version of your app, you will see these as app version numbers. Select the latest version number to get an accurate update on the status of your app.

Google Play:

Login to your Google Play Console and select your app. You can see your app's latest publishing status under your app's name and package name when you select your app in Play Console.

The primary statuses you will see are:

  • In review (This item is part of an update that we’re reviewing)
  • App rejected (This item is part of an update that is not compliant with the Google Play policy or the Developer Distribution Agreement. Aloompa can fix the issue and resubmit, or Aloompa can submit an appeal.)
  • Available (The most recent version of this item is available on your app and on Google Play.)
