How to Release Your App
Now that your app is approved and ready to go live, you can actually release it yourself! Just follow the steps below:
Apple App Store:
- Log in to appstoreconnect.apple.com
- Click on your app
- Click the blue ‘Release this Version’ button in the top right-hand corner of the screen
Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for your app to show up in the app store. If you are wanting your app to be live the next day, we always recommend releasing it the day or night before just to be safe.
Google Play Store:
- Login to https://play.google.com/console/u/1/developers
- Click on your app
- Click on “Go to Publishing Overview”
- Click on the blue “Publish Changes” button
Most attendees are looking for the easiest way to download your mobile app. To increase downloads, circulate the direct store links to your users on social media, in newsletters, and on your website. By being able to click a link to begin the download process, you are decreasing the amount of time it takes to find your mobile app’s store listing. Read about how to locate your app store links here.
