Why can't I find my app in the store?
Apple App Store search results are ranked based on a number of factors, including:
- Text relevance. Matches for your app’s title, keywords, and primary category.
- User behavior. Downloads, as well as the quality and quantity of ratings and reviews.
Google Play Store
Your newly published app may not come up in Google Play Store’s search results because newly released apps have a few installs and a low rating. Since Google Play Store’s search results are limited to a specific number of items, apps that are at the back of the list may not be included in search results. As your app is downloaded the relevancy will increase and be returned upon search.
How to Boost Relevancy of your app:
During the setup of your app, Aloompa will request information from you to ensure that your store listings are optimized for relevancy. We will ask you to provide the following:
- Official App Name (Character Limit 13, This shows under the icon on a phone's home screen)
- Official App store name (Character Limit 30, This is the name that shows in the App Stores.)
- Description of App for App Store
- iOS App Store - Keywords (Character Limit 100, Comma Separated)
For both Apple and Google devices, if you are unable to find your app in the app stores after release you can locate a direct link to each app store in the CMS.
Select Settings --> General and locate the Integrations section. The App Store URL and Google Play Store URL links will be stored there. If they are not, please contact Client Support.
